Mahtab Miandehi and Reza Kellner present XHU

A collaborative and adventurous entity manoeuvring between poetic maximalism and intensity driven improvisations.
Incorporating midi chaos, string sound objects, and sensor articulations the project will be a rhizomatic diffusion of sonic fragments and textures.

Mahtab Miandehi is a violinist, sound artist, and researcher born in Tehran and based in Austria. Her works include acoustic and electro-acoustic music across various media formats, as well as the creation and performance of contemporary music, occasionally built on improvisation and experiments, and at other times following a structured approach.

Reza Kellner is a shapeshifting experimental musician and multimedia. Over the past decade, he has inhabited multiple sonic identities, performing under various monikers at renowned stages including Elevate Festival, Unsafe+Sounds, and the Institute for Sonic Welfare.
